Freaky Or Unique: The Best Gay Life Pre Party Event

Best Gay Life strive to celebrate every part of our community and for our first ever Best Gay Life event we were so proud to host the pre party for the biggest adult industry awards in Europe.
It is 7.30pm on Wednesday 15th May and after months of preparation, planning, panics, sweet taking and lots and of deep breaths the doors finally swung open to the Eagle. Our first guests were greeted by the enigmatic Gregory peering from under his oversize Pharrell-esque hat and then handed their Best Gay Life goodie bag (and damn what a goodie bag it was… cock rings, calendars and a brand-new pair of sexy underwear). Thanks to our amazing sponsors ES Collection, Addicted, Baldrick Benjamin and PUMP! every single guest got a pair.
The Eagle really is one of London’s hidden gems. Brick walls and slick design gives you New York feel and the staff are seriously the friendliest team in town. Out the back there is a brilliant beer garden that served for a great place to catch up before the craziness began. As porn stars and fans alike poured in that is exactly what happened. On the night we had stars from all the big production companies; Naked Sword, Bel Ami, Helix, French Twinks, Lucas Entertainment, Hung Young Brit, Boynapped, TXXXM Studios and Blake Mason. The theme was ‘Freaky or Unique’ and sexy and original was definitely being served! Some people started off with bang and a quick visit to the Stolley Trolley for a complimentary shot of cucumber Stolley vodka.
Meanwhile, downstairs in the dark and sweaty bowels of the Eagle our acts were all getting ready to kick of the show, and of course some of us were more than happy to lend a hand with a costume change or two. Our hosts for the night were industry heavyweights and award nominees Theo Ford and Jay Carrington. They gave Lady Gaga a run for her money with no less than four costume changes for the night; our favourite was the all in one black PVC body suit accompanied by some bondage accessories. The boys steered the night like absolute pros and it would be difficult to say which one of their cheeky games was the most popular. The sex position derby was a strongly contested favourite (what’s not to like about hot half naked boys being thrown all over the place). Although in at number one might have to be ‘Tequila- it makes me happy’; a game that simply involved receiving a mouthful of tequila directly from the mouth of beautiful ‘Naked Sword’ boy Devin Franco.
In between games and acts we were treated to the infectious personality of Chi Chi La Rue behind the decks. The dancefloor was never empty and the joy was tangible.
There were two vocal acts on the night and both had the audience transfixed and whipped up in equal measure. Harley Cunningham’s set showed off an incredible talent through a blend of soulful vocals and rhythmical rap. We were treated with some of his own songs from EP ‘STYLE OF C7’ including knockout single, ‘YOU’RE WORTH IT ALL’.
The second signing was well known porn star Leo Rexx turned rapper Mad Chattaa. His original style of spitting bars, huge personality and incredible costume had the crowd losing their minds. Think a cross between The Mad Hatter and Nikki Minaj and you’d be halfway to imagining what he served. This is some serious talent. Watch this space!
It wasn’t just vocal acrobatics that impressed the audience on the night. The crowd’s eyes were watering from all the splits, kicks and flips from multi-award winning Boylesque, stripper, circus and cabaret performer Danny Ash.
It was a show to remember which was finished off in the masterful hands of Paul Stag from Treasure Island media. Paul had the enviable job of auctioning of the hot and sweaty underwear of all our participant porn stars and Best Gay Life models who had been strutting there stuff all night in stunning underwear by PUMP!, ES, Addicted and Baldrick Benjamin. A few pennies were raised for The National UGLY MUGS charity and everyone was more than happy to get an eyeful of the gaggle of beautiful boys on stage.
The rest of the night played out on the dancefloor to the funky, sexy beats of the dynamic duo DJs Thirsty Bitch – Keyth David and Aamyko.
What a night! Everyone went home with a fresh pair of underwear, a huge grin and in many cases another little treat to take home!
